About Tartan T's

A proud Scot who has travelled all four corners of the globe, I spent years searching for a garment indicative of my heritage to wear whilst abroad. Not exactly comfortable in a tartan tammy and finding my kilt less than comfortable in warmer climes, I eventually devised the Original Tartan T through an unusual tie-dye process which gives the tartan effect suggested by the name. After some admirers literally had 'the shirt from my back', I began to realise that there was a definite market for my product both amongst visitors seeking a unique, wearable memento of our wonderful country, and indeed other Scots wherever in the world they may be. No two T-shirts are exactly the same as each is individually tied, but I currently have three basic types:- Pride of Scotland, Flower of Scotland and the ever popular and instantly recognisable Black Watch. Extending a personal and yet international service, Walkabout Crafts seemed the perfect outlet for my wares and I would therefore invite you to peruse and enjoy the full range of items available.
