 My name is Charles, from
the Africa continent of Kenya. I have been involved in arts and crafts
from the age of 26 and I am addicted to it.
Tucked away in the expansive mountain ranges of Kenya is 'Mount Kenya Curio'
this is a project that is making a difference in the lives of a number of young men and women, in an area where poverty and unemployment is the order of the day, coupled with the high impact of idlers.
I teach and work
with single parents and widows, providing them with the necessary skills to
create beautiful horn crafts, so that they can become protagonist of their
own professional destiny.
All items are
locally designed and are made from cow horns and bones. Utilising the entire
animal for the benefit of the community as a whole.
