My maiden name was Heather Donald my father is Scottish. I moved to Bridlington after living abroad for 11 years . I lived in Saudi Arabia and I ran a pre-school for many years and also ran after school clubs the busy bee's and the sunshine club for the children. I spent many hours planning, preparing and cutting out lots and lots so the children had plenty to do. After ill health and separation from my husband I returned back home to England with two of my four children the other two being older had moved on.
I am disabled and have severe mobility problems now but i have set my self up selling the crafts I make at a little shop in Bridlington.
I display my items along with other items and sell them in the grounds the setting is great, this year I have filled the back garden with painted pots and fairies and lots of flower's.
We are open to the public seven days a week and I go there on my good days and work there self employed.
The Georgian Rooms is a well recognised little shop which is deceiving as it has so much to offer, it has tea rooms where they serve teas and meals and then you can wonder around through the shop and the grounds where you will find so much to look at and of course to purchase . I hope you enjoy this site Emma has created on my behalf.
