Hello and Welcome to Aquarius Woodturning.
My name is Eddie and I live in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
By trade I am a time served cabinet maker, and so have always worked with that wonderful material we call 'wood'.
Since retiring I was able to take up woodturning, a hobby I always wanted to do, but never had the time.
I have now been turning for about 12/13 years, I am mostly self taught and am a member of a turning club where I have learned a lot by watching professional turners at our club meetings and being around fellow turners.
I mostly use English or European timbers but will at times use exotic woods I also like to use burrs when I can find them, I have some Australian burrs in my collection. I also make bowls, platters, clocks etc.
If you have any special requirements I shall do my best to accommodate you so please contact me.
Each piece I make is unique, I never make the same thing twice as no two pieces of wood are the same. I do of course make pairs when needed.
