www.walkaboutcrafts.com has been designed to cater primarily for craft workers, artists, hand made food producers and art and craft suppliers and producers to promote and sell their goods online.
Anyone can become a member of 'Walkabout Crafts'; No matter what country you come from. You can even join as a group or craft association and sell various items under the one name! 

Our membership package for online selling costs only £25 (This is a one off fee). There are no other charges, you receive 100% monies from all items sold. Becoming a member allows you to have your own web pages and sell via 'Walkabout Crafts' and use your own unique web address on your business correspondence, i.e. business cards, product labels etc.  (You don't even need to have a computer, e-mail, web site or paypal account - we do everything for you). We also organise and attend large events throughout the year where we will promote and sell your crafts on your behalf. Members can also receive our craft projects FREE of charge.

What we offer

The opportunity for you or your group to make crafts and sell them.

We set up a shop to your requirements within our web site; Your shop can incorporate your logo, business theme, colours, choice of font etc

We do not charge any commission - what you sell you receive 100% of full sale price!

Free access to our craft projects and templates for ideas and inspiration!

You can make and sell as many different items as you wish

We will of course help you step by step depending on your group and how much support you require.

We take all orders on your behalf so all you have to do is post the item. You receive payment directly from ourselves.

What are the benefits

You receive 100% cash!

We arrange annual events that you can attend or larger events where we can take your crafts on your behalf and sell them for you.

You do not need any skills, you don't even need a computer, email or paypal account!

There is no age limit; under 16's require an adult to sign up on their behalf. If you are joining as a group there are no limits to number of people.

You will have a unique shop which you can advertise on your business cards, fliers etc.

You will be dealing with myself, therefore you will receive a personal, professional service on a one to one basis.

What we require from you

Of course there is a membership fee of £25 which sets up your shop and enables you to sell. You can have up to 40 different items to initially set up your shop, after which you can add up to 20 new items every month. You can also swap, delete, change items whenever you wish.

All items must be well made and conform to any necessary EU standards ( We can help you with necessary advice)

The minimum we require from you is:

For you or your group to make the crafts
Send us images of each item
Decide on a selling price for each item
Have a paypal or bank account to receive payments
Ability to send items out to customers within 48 hours of an order (does not apply to commissioned items)

Your products will also be sold via the main craft fair page, on corresponding pages throughout the web site and on our affiliate sites. For your first months membership you are allowed up to 40 different items, after which you can add up to 20 new items every month. We will assume that you have more than one of each item (unless told otherwise) and keep listing until you wish the item to be removed or changed. If you are selling items that come in different colours / sizes then these are counted as one item i.e Teddy Bear in small, medium or large, in red, blue or green etc.
If you make more than one type of craft i.e pottery and knitwear; we will open two different shops for you at no extra cost.
If your type of craft does not fit under any of the headings in our craft menu then we will add your craft.
If you are adding an image of yourself in the about me section (which is recommended as it gives the customers a personal touch) then this is not included in your amount of images.
You can change / remove items whenever you wish.

When an item sells it will go via our merchant banker. We will inform you of customers delivery address and arrange how you wish to be paid i.e. via cheque / paypal. You will be required to adhere to our refund / replacement policies (as listed on the how to order page) Unless your own specific requirements have been displayed on your shop pages. We inform the customer when an item has been dispatched and if there are any problems they come via Walkabout Crafts first.

We do not charge commission. We do however deduct the merchant banker fees on daily orders totaling £50 and over.

How we pay you - Customers pay us direct, we then transfer payment to yourself. If you wish to be paid by paypal then payments are made within 24 hours of order confirmed. 
If you prefer payment by cheque we will send you one cheque at the end of each month with that months total orders - we do however, require items are dispatched within 48 hours of order received. (unless item is commissioned)

Wholesale - we do provide a wholesale service for gift shops / outlets to purchase your items - In most cases we will try to negotiate a fair discount between yourself and buyer. Not all members are able to supply wholesale and there is no obligation we will however, still contact you on each occasion to offer you the opportunity.
